Family Law
Allie Canon understands that family law matters have a lasting impact on individuals and families and often involve significant personal and emotional challenges. She is committed to providing thoughtful and effective representation tailored to each client’s unique circumstances, bringing a detail-oriented approach to each case with an emphasis on compassion, preparation, and communication. Allie works closely with the firm’s senior attorneys to prepare and litigate family law matters, contributing to legal research, case development, and trial preparation.
Background
Allie is from Culpeper, Virginia. She graduated from Wake Forest School of Law in 2026, where she served as President of Awaken, The Journal of Contemporary Bioethics and as a staff member on the Journal of Intellectual Property and Business Law. While in law school, Allie worked with the United States Air Force Judge Advocate General’s Corps and the Children’s Law Center Guardian ad Litem program, gaining experience with legal research, case preparation, and matters involving children and families. Prior to attending law school, Allie worked as a paralegal in a variety of practice areas, including estate planning and family law. This experience provided her with an early foundation in legal practice and client service. Allie received her B.A. from the University of South Florida.
